Meet Hanna

I’m Hanna, a CPA with a Master’s in Accounting and a background that spans public accounting, municipal government, and now my own advisory practice. I’ve sat in a lot of different seats, and that range is what makes me useful to my clients.

What I’ve noticed across all of them is that most business owners and nonprofit leaders aren’t struggling because they don’t care about their finances. They’re struggling because no one has ever helped them truly understand what the numbers are telling them. That’s the work I do.

I live in Hendersonville with my husband and our two kids. When I’m not working, I’m usually on a bike, reading, or finding excuses to be outside.

How I Work

There’s a saying in accounting: “garbage in, garbage out.” Simply put, your financial information is only as useful as the care that goes into maintaining it. When records fall behind, the numbers stop telling a clear story and decision-making becomes much harder.

That’s why I place a strong emphasis on keeping financial information organized and reviewed consistently. When the underlying data is reliable, less time is spent fixing problems and more time can be spent using your numbers to guide decisions.

I approach each client relationship as a partnership built on clear communication and follow-through. My role is to stay engaged with your financial information throughout the year so you’re not left interpreting reports on your own or scrambling when deadlines approach.

Working Together

Working together is meant to feel straightforward and collaborative. Here’s what that typically looks like:

What You Can Expect From Me

  • Clear communication and timely responses
  • Financial information that’s organized, accurate, and easy to understand
  • Regular review of your numbers to identify trends and potential issues
  • Practical guidance that helps you understand what your financial data is telling you
  • Consistent support throughout the year

What I Ask of My Clients

  • Timely submission of information and documentation
  • Open and transparent communication
  • Respect for agreed timelines and processes so things stay on track
  • A shared effort to stay ahead of issues rather than reacting to them
